CMS sounds a lot more complicated than it is. Since the beginning of time, website developers have sought a way to allow their customers — business owners, organization directors, shoe sales people — to update their own sites without any training in code and programming. Thus CMS’s were born. This allows you to log in to the dashboard, or back end of your website to change text and images. Some popular CMS’s are WordPress, Drupal, Joomla. You could also throw Wix, GoDaddy’s Website Tonite and Weebly in here, although they are not CMS’s in the true sense of the word.
